Wilfords, based in London, has grown its rental business through the acquisition of two competing agencies, including their managed property portfolios.
The enterprise, with branches in Kensington and Wandsworth, has purchased Cameron Pearson in South Kensington, and Draper Estate Agents in Notting Hill.
Wilfords conducts business in both property sales and rentals, including short and long-term lets, and operates throughout west, central, and southwest London.
These recent purchases enhance the company’s presence at the Kensington office, and now the focus is on enlarging the rental branch in Wandsworth, which serves a significant part of Southwest London. Wilfords has dedicated £500,000 to procure additional agencies in the coming years to further its growth.
Simon Welfare, who co-founded Wilfords, stated: “From the time we started up in Kensington more than a decade ago, and particularly since we launched our Wandsworth office last year, our rental business has seen substantial growth. We’ve earned a solid reputation among both property owners and renters by providing tailored, professional, and friendly services.
“We’re thrilled to share the news of taking over Cameron Pearson and Draper Estate Agents, which now complements our services in Kensington, and we’re on the hunt to acquire more agencies in Southwest London to contribute to the success of our blossoming branch in Wandsworth.
“Wilfords stands out from the bigger corporate players because we’re an independent local agency that ensures a smooth transition for the long-standing clients of the agencies we acquire, while maintaining the high standard of service for property owners and renters.”
