The Art of Banksy: New Pop-Up Exhibition at 98-102 Charing Cross Road

The Art of Banksy exhibition is set to display the world’s largest collection of certified Banksy artworks. With over 1.5 million visitors to date in 15 cities worldwide, the exhibit features seminal works from the renowned artist.

Visitors can expect to see over 150 items including prints, canvases, one-of-a-kind pieces, and rare materials. Highlights include well-known pieces like the Flower Thrower, Girl With Balloon in three colour variations, and a never-seen-before version of the Mona Lisa.

The venue, spanning ground and basement levels with 14,100 sq. ft., sits in the bustling West End of London. Noteworthy establishments like the Royal Opera House, The Ivy, and Hakkasan are in the vicinity, and the location boasts strong transport links through the Elizabeth, Central, and Northern lines at Tottenham Court Road station.

Daniel Aboud, Director in Central London Retail & Leisure at Savills, says: “The Art of Banksy exhibitions have been highly successful in Covent Garden and Regent Street, investing over £1 million in those areas. The new Charing Cross Road location is a natural progression, guided by high public interest. Pop-up events are proving extremely popular, and with demand for immersive experiences growing, we expect similar high-profile deals soon.”

Michel Boersma, CEO of GTP Exhibitions Ltd and curator of The Art of Banksy, remarks: “Following our successful stints in Covent Garden and Regent Street, we wanted a West End site that offered high pedestrian traffic, visibility, and enough space for our exhibition and new café. Locating this site was thought to be a challenge, but thanks to Chilworth Land, our real estate consultant who secured our past and current venues quickly, it wasn’t. Working with the owners and the Savills team was smooth and efficient, recognizing the unique challenges of hosting a tourist attraction like The Art of Banksy. We’re keen to launch this new era for The Art of Banksy at one of London’s most iconic locales.”
