Savills UK Announces Sale of Jakes Indoor Playworld Limited in Berkshire

The Berkshire-based company, Jakes Indoor Playworld Limited, has been acquired by Adventure Farms Limited, a newly established firm led by Bean Chapman and Tom Honeyman-Brown, who also manage Chobham Adventure Farm in Surrey and Tapnell Farm on The Isle of Wight. The purchase price has not been disclosed.

Jakes Indoor Soft Play and Mini Farm has been under family ownership for 14 years, with the owners nurturing and expanding the facility into what it is today: a popular activity center featuring indoor play areas, a mini farm, and an outdoor adventure park. The owners decided to sell the business as they are looking forward to retirement.

The legal process for the sellers was handled by Hughes Paddison Solicitors based in Cheltenham, while the buyers were represented by the George Green LLP firm located in Cradley Heath.

Kay Griffiths, a director at Savills within the leisure and trading team, expressed satisfaction with the sale’s outcome. “Our client has put significant effort into establishing the business, and we are pleased to have finalized the sale. The foundation they’ve set up is a great jumping-off point for the new proprietors to take the business to the next level,” she stated.
