Chetwood Financial has brought on Roselle Allsop as its new marketing director.
The company, established in 2016 in Wrexham, operates as a digital bank offering various consumer products. It is also preparing to introduce ModaMortgages, a new mortgage lender focusing on the buy-to-let market.
Allsop brings over two decades of marketing expertise within the financial sector to her new role, having held numerous senior management positions, where she was involved in strategic guidance, strategy development, and brand creation.
She has significantly contributed to developing leading UK specialist lending and challenger bank brands, such as Precise Mortgages and Charter Savings Bank. Allsop also played a crucial role in the growth of FTSE 250 entities like OneSavings Bank, Kent Reliance for intermediaries, and InterBay Commercial.
At Chetwood, Allsop will manage marketing strategies for the company’s brands and lead marketing efforts for ModaMortgages, building on the foundational work she has done over the past year as a consultant.
ModaMortgages aims to offer accessible and efficient buy-to-let mortgages, catering to a range of landlords through intermediaries, including those with small or large portfolios, corporations, individuals, and first-time property owners.
Last September, Chetwood named Ian Lonergan, former CEO and creator of Precise Mortgages, as its new group chair. Around the same time, Darrell Walker, formerly of OSB, Prestige Finance, and InterBay Commercial, joined ModaMortgages as head of mortgage sales and distribution.
Allsop expressed her enthusiasm for her official appointment, highlighting the pivotal moment for the company with the upcoming launch of ModaMortgages and the established consumer products. She looks forward to using her marketing expertise in financial services to develop the Chetwood brand and expand its customer base.
