Savills has been tasked with designing the new headquarters of Sacyr Somague at the Torres de Lisboa Business Centre, having previously designed their offices on Rua Castilho. Savills BPC & Architecture department took on the project.
The multinational infrastructure and concessions company Sacyr Somague chose this office park to expand its footprint in Portugal. The design urgently needed to accommodate a new work model that combined private office space with open areas and casual, collaborative settings.
The brand identity of Sacyr was the foundation for the design of the new roughly 600 square meter headquarters. The office features the company’s colour scheme and geometric motifs from their logo throughout the design, which are visible in the flooring, partitions, and various distinctive features.
Rita Santos, the head of Human Resources and General Services at Sacyr in Portugal, praised the innovative, collaborative, and welcoming nature of the new headquarters, noting a tailored design focused on employee well-being. She thanked Savills for their commitment and the exceptional transformation that exceeded their expectations even within a tight schedule.
Pedro Gomes, an Associate Architect at Savills Portugal, also commented on the rewarding experience of working on such an ambitious project with Sacyr, which prioritized collaborative and comfortable spaces. He recognized Savill’s efficiency in accelerating the project and fulfilling the client’s vision.
