Pennyfarthing Homes has teamed up with VIVID to build 106 budget-friendly homes as part of their Fordingbridge project in Hampshire.
The collaborative venture will present a variety of housing styles, including homes for purchase, shared ownership, and affordable rentals.
Prospective homeowners can choose from an assortment of one- and two-bedroom flats, two- to four-bedroom houses, and bungalows with two or three bedrooms.
Spanning almost seven acres, construction will commence in November, after groundwork begins in June.
Matt Dukes, Pennyfarthing Homes’ managing director, expresses enthusiasm about the upcoming affordable, high-quality homes in Fordingbridge that will benefit both the town and surrounding regions.
“Our partnership with VIVID focuses on constructing homes that represent Pennyfarthing’s standard of excellence, providing VIVID customers with comfortable, quality living spaces,” says Dukes.
“We’re eager to work with VIVID and hope to maintain a strong relationship with this distinguished housing provider in Hampshire,” he adds.
The new community will have access to open spaces, play areas, and a green recreational space, as well as pathways for safe walking and cycling that connect to the town centre and schools.
Every property is guaranteed parking, with larger dwellings boasting a garage or carport. Houses and bungalows will also include private backyards.
Tristan Samuels, VIVID’s group development and new business director, is pleased to partner with Pennyfarthing Homes and believes in offering safe, secure housing for all. This project aims to alleviate the affordable housing shortage in the south.
“We’re dedicated to positively influencing communities by providing housing solutions that improve lives and build thriving neighbourhoods,” says Samuels.
This particular phase in Fordingbridge will even feature six ‘First Homes’ available through Pennyfarthing Homes, a government program aiding local first-time buyers and key workers in the New Forest area. The homes are expected to be complete by Autumn 2025.
