Last Friday at London’s QEII Centre in Westminster, numerous agents gathered for the annual Guild Conference and Awards.
The event, themed ‘Sharing Success,’ was a full-day affair that united Guild members and key industry figures, exclusively for The Guild’s network.
Iain McKenzie, the CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals, guided the conference with the objective to celebrate successes within the industry.
Peter Rollings, an industry expert and former executive at Foxtons and Marsh & Parsons, offered advice on securing higher fees. Agent Rainmaker’s CEO and founder, Sally Lawson, discussed ways to increase revenue in the lettings sector. Panel discussions throughout the day delved into the effects of AI on real estate, providing insights into emerging trends and innovations.
Kris McLean, the Managing Director of The Guild, emphasized the need to commend Guild members for their exceptional service throughout 2023, despite facing market hurdles. The Guild Awards ceremony in the afternoon honoured these individuals’ excellent performances.
Laura Hamilton, a TV presenter and expert in property and travel, hosted the award presentations, celebrating the dedication and superior customer service provided by Guild members throughout the home moving process.
There were 95 Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Special Awards given out this year, all in honour of the remarkable achievements during 2023.
“The Guild Conference and Awards give us the chance to acknowledge the hard work and professionalism of agents over the past year. Congratulations to this year’s award recipients, and best of luck for 2024,” McLean stated.
