Dynamic Real Estate Firm Accomplishes New Takeover

Lomond has enhanced its operations in Chester through the recent acquisition of another company.

The estate agency has acquired Denton Clark Rentals, established in 1975, though the purchase price has not been disclosed.

In addition to offering rental services, Denton Clark Rentals provides sales and property management. The company will be integrated into the nearby office of Matthews of Chester (MOC).

Since its establishment in 2020, Lomond has acquired over 50 firms throughout the UK, marking territories in Scotland, Yorkshire, Manchester, Birmingham, Exeter, and the South Coast. The North West has seen the addition of 17 firms to Lomond’s portfolio in under three years, including Denton Clark.

Jason Watkin, Lomond’s chief executive, expressed that the North West’s vibrant rental and sales market makes it a prime target for more acquisitions in 2024.

Jennifer Morris, who expertly managed property investments at Denton Clark, is transitioning to the Matthews of Chester team to provide seamless service continuity.

Lomond’s CEO, Ed Phillips, stated that the North West is a critical focus area for their expansion, having seen their portfolio triple in size since their launch. They plan to accelerate their acquisition strategy in 2024, with Chester being a key focal point for further expansion.
